Dough:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Coating:
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Glaze:
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 4 rectangles. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Coat and Twist: Brush each rectangle with butter, sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mix, fold in half, cut into strips, twist gently, and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 9–11 minutes until golden brown.
- Make Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Glaze and Serve: Drizzle the glaze over the warm twists and serve.
Notes
- Add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom to the cinnamon sugar for a flavor twist.
