Ingredients

Bread:

2 slices whole grain or sourdough bread

Avocado Spread:

1 ripe avocado (mashed)

Tomato Layer:

1 medium tomato (sliced)

Cheese:

2 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese

Spread:

1 tablespoon mayonnaise or butter

Seasoning:

salt, pepper, pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Optional:

fresh basil leaves


Instructions
