  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Cook the Meat: In a large pot, heat olive oil and cook ground beef and Italian sausage until browned.
  2. Add Vegetables and Seasonings: Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic.
  3. Make the Sauce: Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, beef broth, sugar, herbs, spices, and bay leaf. Simmer for 45–60 minutes.
