For Cooking:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, grated onion, parsley, cumin, paprika, coriander, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined—avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.
- Roll into Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a plate or tray.
- Cook Meatballs: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches and cook for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides and cooked through.
- Serve: Serve hot with a dipping sauce, over couscous, or in wraps.
Notes
- These meatballs pair well with yogurt sauce, tzatziki, or spicy harissa.
- You can bake them at 400°F for 15–18 minutes for a lighter version.
- Leftovers make great pita sandwich fillings or grain bowl toppers.
