Description

This protein smoothie is a delicious and nutritious way to start your day or refuel after a workout. Packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats, it’s a satisfying and energy-boosting drink.

Ingredients

Scale

Liquid Base:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)

Protein and Fruits:

  • 1 scoop vanilla or chocolate protein powder
  • 1 medium banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries (or any fruit of choice)

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional, for a thicker texture)

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients: Add the almond milk, protein powder, banana, frozen berries, peanut butter, chia seeds or flaxseeds (if using), ground cinnamon (if using), and ice cubes to a blender.
  2. Blend: Blend on high until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed.
  3. Adjust: Taste and adjust the thickness by adding more milk if desired.
  4. Serve: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Swap the banana for Greek yogurt for extra protein and a tangy flavor.
  • Use your favorite plant-based protein powder to make it vegan.
  • For extra greens, add a handful of fresh spinach—it won’t affect the taste.
