Description

This One-Pot Honey Garlic Chicken and Noodles recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines tender chicken, flavorful garlic, honey, and Asian sauces with noodles and vegetables for a complete meal in one pot.

Chicken:

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

Sauce:

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Noodles and Vegetables:

  • 12 oz uncooked spaghetti or lo mein noodles
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup matchstick carrots
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add chicken and cook until browned.
  2. Make Sauce: Whisk together garlic, honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Pour over cooked chicken.
  3. Add Noodles and Broth: Add noodles and chicken broth to the skillet. Cook until noodles are nearly tender.
  4. Add Vegetables: Stir in carrots and broccoli, and cook until vegetables are tender.
  5. Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, stir in green onions, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve hot.
