Description

This One-Pot Beef and Cheddar Ranch Pasta is a hearty and flavorful dish that combines ground beef, cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning with pasta for a deliciously easy meal the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 cups uncooked short pasta (like penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or deep skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Stir in garlic, ranch seasoning, paprika, and black pepper; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add beef broth, cheddar cheese soup, and uncooked pasta. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese and heavy cream if using. Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
  • Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra veggies.
  • This recipe is great for leftovers and reheats well.
