- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp water
Ganache Topping
- 7 oz vegan chocolate

- ¼ cup full fat canned coconut milk (thick part from the top of the can)

Instructions
- Prepare the base: Add the oats, hazelnut butter, and maple syrup to a food processor and blend for a few minutes until combined. Add water and blend again until a dough forms. Adjust with more water if too dry or oats if too wet.
- Set the base: Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan and line with parchment paper. Press the dough evenly into the pan and smooth the surface. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Make the ganache topping: Melt vegan chocolate over a double boiler. In a blender, combine the melted chocolate, hazelnut butter, maple syrup, and thick coconut milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Assemble the bars: Spread the ganache evenly over the chilled base using a scraper or spatula. Create a swirl effect using the back of a spoon. Sprinkle toasted hazelnuts on top if desired.
- Chill and serve: Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours until firm. Slice into bars and serve.
- Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 5 days for best freshness.
