  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (plus more for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine Peanut Butter and Syrup: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter and maple syrup. Stir continuously until smooth and warmed through, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add Vanilla and Salt: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt until fully incorporated.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine crispy rice cereal, crushed pretzels, and mini chocolate chips.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and mix gently until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Press Into Pan: Press the mixture firmly into an 8×8-inch parchment-lined pan.
  6. Add Toppings: If desired, sprinkle additional mini chocolate chips on top and press them in lightly.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
