Instructions
- Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add Milk and Vanilla: Mix in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Add the heat-treated flour and salt, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Press Into Pan: Press the dough evenly into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
- Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
- Assemble and Chill: Pour the melted chocolate over the cookie dough layer and spread evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until set.
