Instructions
- Melt chocolate: If using white chocolate instead of frosting, melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring after each until smooth and fully melted.
- Prepare frosting mix: In a small bowl, combine white frosting with vanilla extract and milk, stirring until slightly softened to make piping easier.
- Fill piping bag: Transfer the prepared frosting or melted white chocolate into a piping bag fitted with a small round tip, or use a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off for piping.
- Pipe bandages: Pipe horizontal lines across the top of each cupcake to create the mummy bandages effect, leaving an open space in the center for the eyes.
- Add eyes: While the frosting or chocolate is still soft, place two candy eyes on each cupcake so they stick properly.
- Set and serve: Allow the frosting or chocolate to set completely before serving to ensure decorations hold their shape.
