- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

- ½ teaspoon onion powder

Topping:
- ½ cup crushed Ritz crackers
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Garnish:
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook Rice-A-Roni: Prepare the Rice-A-Roni according to package instructions; set aside.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, chicken, sour cream, cottage cheese, cream of chicken soup, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Spread Mixture: Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish; top with remaining cheese.
