Description

Celebrate Halloween with this irresistible Halloween Chex Mix! A sweet and salty snack mix loaded with Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, candy corn, chocolate candies, and a white chocolate coating. Perfect for parties or just snacking.

Ingredients

Scale

Rice Chex Mix:

  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal

Corn Chex Mix:

  • 4 cups Corn Chex cereal

Additional Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chocolate candies (like Halloween-colored M&Ms)
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, mini pretzels, candy corn, chocolate candies, and peanuts if using.
  2. Melt White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Coat Ingredients: Pour the melted white chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients and gently stir to coat everything evenly.
  4. Set and Decorate: Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, add Halloween sprinkles if desired, and let it sit until the chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes.
  5. Serve: Once set, break into clusters and serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • You can easily customize this mix with your favorite candies, cereals, or nuts.
  • For a nut-free version, simply omit the peanuts.
