Ingredients
Tortilla Chips:
1 bag (10–12 oz)
Shredded Cheese:
2 cups cheddar or Mexican blend
Black Beans:
1 can (15 oz), rinsed and drained
Ground Beef or Shredded Chicken:
1 cup, cooked (optional)
Black Olives:
½ cup, sliced
Tomatoes:
½ cup, diced
Red Onion:
¼ cup, chopped
Green Onions:
2, sliced
Jalapeño:
1, thinly sliced (optional)
Sour Cream:
½ cup
Guacamole:
½ cup
Fresh Cilantro:
¼ cup, chopped
Salsa:
for serving
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer Ingredients: Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet, top with cheese, beans, meat (if using), olives, tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños.
- Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Finish and Serve: Sprinkle with green onions and cilantro. Serve hot with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
Notes
- You can make vegetarian nachos by omitting the meat.
- For extra flavor, add corn or pickled jalapeños.
