Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dates: Place chopped dates in a bowl, add baking soda, and pour boiling water over them. Let sit for 10 minutes to soften.
- Mix Batter: Cream butter and brown sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in softened dates and nuts.
