Dry Ingredients:

- ¾ cup granulated sugar

- 1 tablespoon orange zest (from 1–2 oranges)
Wet Ingredients:
- ¾ cup fresh orange juice
- ½ cup whole milk
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: coarse sugar or orange glaze for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners or lightly grease with nonstick spray.
- Prepare the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and orange zest.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the orange juice, milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Combine and bake: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Divide the batter into muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full. Sprinkle with coarse sugar if desired. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before serving.

- Add white chocolate chips or chopped nuts for variation.
- For a simple orange glaze, mix ½ cup powdered sugar with 1–2 tablespoons orange juice and drizzle over cooled muffins.
