Cowboy Cream Cheese Spread:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- ½ cup diced pickled jalapeños (or fresh if preferred)
- ¼ cup finely chopped green onions
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Serve chilled with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh veggies.
Notes
- For a spicier version, use fresh jalapeños with seeds or add a dash of hot sauce.
