Brownies:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed)
Strawberries:
- 1 pint fresh strawberries (hulled and halved)
Chocolate Topping:
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or non-stick spray.
- Mix and Bake: Mix and bake the brownies according to package directions. Let them cool completely in the pan.
- Add Strawberries: Layer the halved strawberries cut-side down across the entire surface of the brownies.
- Prepare Chocolate Topping: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Top with Chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate over the strawberries, spreading it evenly to cover them.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the pan for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set. Slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
