- 1 package (6 ounces) cherry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 can (14 ounces) whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large heatproof bowl, dissolve the cherry gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved. Stir in the cranberry sauce until well combined.
- Add the drained pineapple, cherry pie filling, lemon juice, and nuts if using. Mix gently until everything is evenly combined.
- Pour into a 9×13-inch dish or a large serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Serve chilled as a holiday side dish or dessert.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add 1 teaspoon of orange zest.
- You can also make this in a decorative mold for a festive presentation.
