Description

A refreshing and colorful cherry cranberry relish made with cherry gelatin, cranberry sauce, pineapple, cherry pie filling, and optional nuts. This easy no-bake dessert or side dish is perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 1 package (6 ounces) cherry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 can (14 ounces) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large heatproof bowl, dissolve the cherry gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved. Stir in the cranberry sauce until well combined.
  2. Add the drained pineapple, cherry pie filling, lemon juice, and nuts if using. Mix gently until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Pour into a 9×13-inch dish or a large serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  4. Serve chilled as a holiday side dish or dessert.
