Instructions

- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, poppy seeds, cardamom, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until a dough forms.
- Shape and Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions, roll into balls, flatten slightly, and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
