For the Cake:
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour 1/4 cup melted butter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan. Sprinkle brown sugar, arrange peaches on top.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Prepare Batter: Beat 1/4 cup melted butter with sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Alternate dry ingredients and milk into the wet mixture.
- Bake: Pour batter over peaches and bake for 35–40 minutes. Invert onto a plate after cooling.
