Ingredients

Custard:
3 large ripe bananas sliced, 2 cups whole milk, ½ cup granulated sugar, ¼ cup cornstarch, ¼ teaspoon salt, 4 large egg yolks, 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whipped Cream Topping:

Instructions
- Custard: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Cook until thickened. Whisk egg yolks, temper with hot mixture, and return to saucepan. Cook until smooth. Stir in butter and vanilla. Cool slightly.
