Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin or baking sheet.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla, and melted butter.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stir until just combined.
  5. Add Apples: Toss diced apples with lemon juice, fold into the batter.
  6. Bake: Scoop batter onto baking sheet or muffin tin, bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  7. Make Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for glaze.
  8. Glaze and Serve: Drizzle glaze over warm fritters, allow to set before serving.
