- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- honey or maple syrup for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.
- Prepare Bananas: Peel the bananas, slice them in half lengthwise, then cut each half in two to make 4 pieces per banana.
- Mix Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix melted coconut oil or butter with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
- Coat Bananas: Brush the banana pieces with the mixture on all sides.
- Air Fry: Place the banana pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and caramelized.
- Serve: Let cool slightly, then drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Use bananas that are yellow with no or few brown spots for best results.
- For extra crunch, top with chopped nuts after cooking.
